Self catering in Tuscany - Agriturismo Pratini offers Italian farmhouse vacations not far from Volterra and within easy reach of Pisa, Siena, Florence and Chianti.
This organic Farm is 15km from Volterra, 25km from San Gimignano and 18km from Montaione and has been offering farm holidays in Tuscany since 1993. The accommodation encompasses independent farmhouses and apartments with their own pools, and with the oldest house dating back to the year 1664.

Set in acres of farmland and woods, the farm lies partly within a nature reserve. Two of the three pools are salt water and offer hydromassage - note that these are open from 15 May to 30 September each year. Some of the houses use warm water produced through solar energy, and ecologically friendly materials have been employed in the restoration of the estate.
Walking down white farm paths, watching pheasant or roe deer, relaxing in the peaceful 18th century house, enjoying a swim in the pool, picking ripe tomatoes, tasting the farm-produced red wine, cooking pizza in the wood burning stove, and discovering secret paths by horseback or bike ... this is a truly lovely part of Tuscany.
Apartment Lavender sleeps five. Situated in front of the swimming pool, it comprises a spacious kitchen, comfortable living-room, double bedroom, bedroom with three beds and a huge bathroom with shower. The washing-machine is shared with apartment Rosmarino. A TV is available on request and the apartment is suited for people with disabilities.
