There's plenty to do round about, with horse riding 6km away, golf 15km away and a fine restaurant only 7km away. The sea can be reached in an hour by car.
And there's plenty to savour on the farm itself, an organic producer of olive oil, wine, pasta, eggs, honey and vegetables. Cook the renowned chianina steaks on the open barbecue - your hosts will tell you the best places to buy. Go to the little natural lake for a mud bath. Take horse riding lessons nearby. Or explore the region with expertly guided tours.
