Statiano Farm is in the northern-most part of the Maremma, bounded by the River Cecina. It lies at the heart of Etruscan Tuscany, within easy reach of Siena, Pisa and Grosseto. Nature and history reign supreme here, creating a unique landscape and atmosphere.

Just 15km from Volterra, 23km from the sea, 40km form the charming village of Bolgheri and 55km from San Gimignano, Statiano is an old farmhouse lovingly restored by its owners. Its 150 hectares of farmland have always been given over to wheat, wine, oil and vegetables, and now these crops are raised organically. All around lie woods of Mediterranean macchia, a natural habitat for wild boar and deer, porcupine and hawks, stretching to the boundaries of the Monterufoli nature reserve.

Guests can choose from a wide range of spacious rooms and apartments. Statiano is easly reach from Pisa airport with A12 Genova - Rosignano Marittima motroway and a good base for those who wish to explore Tuscany without travelling too much. It's great for those in need of a relaxing break in unspoilt countryside not far from the sea. Or simply for those who want to spend a weekend enjoying good cooking and excellent local delicacies!

There are two different type of apartments: the first type is typical Tuscan furnished 60 sq.m, with four places well equipped, double bedrooms, living room with cooking facilities, a bathroom and a private outside area; the second type is 70 sq.m with two double bedrooms in large double floor apartments, indipendent, fully equipped, five places, two additional beds or crandles, two bathrooms, rustic wooden furniture, private outside areas in the courtyard.

Rooms are also available for rent: from 18 to 25 sq.m. with rustic wooden furniture’s double bedrooms, bathrooms ensuite and very panoramic view.

Guests can play cricket and badminton. There is a library, internet point, tennis, swimming pool, trekking in the nearby countryside. Breakfast is served each morning; there is a typical dinner each night (for which you must book). The house offers a conference room, baby-sitting, mountain bikes, and your hosts can book tickets for theatres or museums. Pets are welcome. From October 20th - November 1st there is the olive harvest with olive oil tasting. In the period September 29 - 30 you can learn how to make a straw hat with our skilled craftswoman. Prices depend on the season, high season: from July 1st to September 15th, Christmas, new year day and Easter, low season: the rest of the year. The property is closed form January 11st to March 30th. Apartment with one bathroom range from EURO €580 to €720 per week and from EURO €120 to €140 per day, apartment with two bathroom range from €630 to €800 per week and from €140 to €150 per day. A single bedroom range from €50 to €65 per night and a double bedroom range from €65 to €75 per night. Breakfast is €6,50. Dinner range from €23 to €30. Prices include: electricity, heating, water, bed linen and towels, final cleaning for the apartment and daily cleaning for the rooms.
