Residence Le Coloniche welcomes you to central Tuscany, with the traditional flavours and aromas of rural life. The 17th century villa has been completely restored while maintaining its traditional wooden ceiling beams, antique furniture and old fireplaces.

Set high in the Montalbano hills amid olive groves, orchards and woods, it has an extraordinary view of the beautiful Valdinievole valley, and is only few miles away from the most important art cities in Tuscany, such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia and Montecatini Terme.

You can relax by the swimming pool which nestles among the olive groves, take walks or bike along the woodland paths (mountain bikes are provided), or play golf nearby. There are spacious and well-equipped open areas; a taverna for buffet breakfast and special dinner evenings; a children's playground; a barbecue pit with chairs and tables. And there are farmhouse products provided, including olive oil, jams and honey.

There are also special 'Golf & Country' breaks at Le Coloniche. A week's B&B stay in either Lavanda or Glicine includes four days green fees at one of the local clubs and a welcome dinner. Prices range from EURO €693 to €745 depending on the season. There are also weekend stays (3 nights) with two days green fees, ranging from €323 to €365. The Main House is divided into seven charming apartments (for 2 up to 8 guests), and all named after flowers. The Villa Perticaia Alta, meanwhile, is a detached house for 20 guests.

All the apartments have a dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, oven, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, safe, telephone with direct external lines, TV with satellite and decoder and independent heating. All are furnished to a very high standard, and the original fireplaces have been restored as have the chestnuts beams both inside and out.

Apartment Camelia, measuring 150 square metres, and sleeping 4+2, is on the ground floor. It has a spacious sitting room with fireplace, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bath), a kitchen and a storeroom.
