Whichever room or apartment you choose, you are situated in the very heart of the Chianti area. This is some of the world's most beautiful countryside and you are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. There are four double bedrooms and five apartments in total, furnished in the rustic Chianti style; each has an independent entrance and a small patio at your disposal. Almost all of them are furnished with a typical Tuscan fireplace which, besides creating its own special atmosphere, offers guests the chance to cook and to heat the rooms in the most traditional way possible. The splendid garden is filled with roses, olive trees, wisteria and strawberries; it has a stone barbecue, a wood-burning oven, a shared laundry room and a panoramic swimming pool, which is surrounded by a crown of white roses.
Apartment Wisteria
Blueberry, Peach, Kiwi and Cherry are the double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and a little kitchen-niche with an electric-plate and a fridge. You can cook your own meals and make a tea or coffee whenever you wish. A little single bed can be added on request, as the rooms have plenty of space. They are in renovated storehouses, and each has an independent entrance and a small patio for dining, enjoying reading, sunbathing or simply relaxing in the open air.
Jasmine is a little apartment in the main house. Access is from the ground floor, with an independent entrance, by way of an indoor stairway. It's a cosy nest made up of a small living room with cooking niche, single sofa-bed and TV. To complete things there's a large bathroom and a lovely double bedroom, both painted blue. It's the quietest of all the apartments and has a private pergola in the garden.
Rose, Violet and Wisteria are three apartments in the main house: two of them are located one floor up and the third on the ground floor. They are all made up of a large living room with fireplace, wood-burning stove, a cooking niche, double sofa-bed and TV. The bathrooms are all spacious and have windows; the lovely double bedrooms have furniture from the beginning of the last century. The ones one floor up have a French window giving onto a balcony with a lovely view that includes, if you wish, the sunrise. Just in front of the doorway (or, at least very near in the garden), each has a small patio separated from the other entrances by fragrant plants and vines, to guarantee guests' privacy while they are dining or relaxing in their lawn chairs.
Oak and Sunflower are the biggest apartments, both on the ground floor. The entrance is onto a living room with a fireplace, a cooking niche, sofa bed and TV. The ground-floor Oak's big bedrooms and the lovely large bathroom are made cheerful by flocks of ducks on the walls. Sunflower is one floor up. All the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with furniture from the beginning of the last century, and the bathrooms have windows. They have a bricked-in area screened off with plants in front of the entrance, equipped with a table, chairs and lounge chairs.
