Siena Bed and Breakfast - Tuscany - holiday accommodation south of Siena. Near to the pretty town of Chianciano, this makes a great base for exploring this loveliest of Italian regions.
Why is it called La Locanda Degli Artisti? Because the owners - who love art and culture - have used their artistic skills to furnish the rooms. Nearly everything in the rooms is handmade by your hosts, Monica and Maurizio. Monica has made the fabrics, pictures and colours, Maurizio the furniture and sculpture. Guests can take cookery lessons with Monica and sculpture lessons with Maurizio. Breakfast is served in the garden and there is a swimming pool for guests.
There is a single room, a double room, a suite for three (the Cornelius Esher suite), a suite for four (the Salvador Dalì) and the Pablo Picasso double room.

A single room with private external bathroom is EURO €35; a double room with bathroom €65; a double suite with bathroom €75; a large suite with bathroom €85. Prices are per room per night, with breakfast €5 per person.
Chianciano Terme itself is one of the major spa resorts in Tuscany, a marvellous place to come and take a restful, curative vacation. There is also a very nice old town, Chianchiano Vecchio, with its art museum and Romanesque Collegiata.
And you're halfway between the marvellous towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano, with your Tuscan holiday accommodation putting you within reach of some of the region's most enticing sights.
