Nearby sights include Chianti, with its beautiful vineyards and rolling countryside, castles, churches and farms, where it is possible to taste and to choose wines. There is the landscape of the Val d' Orcia, and the ancient medieval villages of Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico d' Orcia, Castiglione and Rocca d' Orcia and Bagno Vignoni. There is the Abbey of Sant' Antimo, a superb example of Romanesque Cistercian architecture. See the Crete Senesi and the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, and the Abbey of San Galgano. Or head to the nearby Tyrrhenian coast. Just a flavour of the many sights and cities to see during your stay.

For wine and food lovers, it is possible to have dinner in the garden or in the cellars, three evenings a week, by candlelight, with traditional Tuscan dishes. You will enjoy the best wines and extra-virgin olive oils produced on the estate.
