These Chianti villa rentals, sleeping 10 guests, are based around a beautifully restored 16th century home. Recently refurbished, Le Casette now comprises of 2 lovely stone built houses.
Casa del Gallo and Capanno (both sleeping 4+1) are in a unique position in Tuscany: isolated and surrounded by oak woods and olive groves, the grounds offer a superb view over the hills and valleys of the Chianti Classico region.
Both Tuscan holiday rental houses are built of stone and have been rebuilt with utmost respect for the original structures. The previous owner, a renowned actor, revived their natural charm and sober beauty during the 1960s.
The spacious rooms provide a view up to the roof with its fine old wooden beams. The walls are either of natural stone or are painted in the traditional Tuscan manner. All the floors are laid with hand-made terracotta tiles and the interior furnishings combine antiques with Tuscan rustic pieces.
Each of the houses have independent terraces (with barbecue), various areas for sitting, eating, drinking and relaxing, an 8m swimming pool dressed in mosaics and private parking. Please note that the swimming pool is only open from the middle of May until the middle of October.
