VACATION RENTALS IN ITALY - CHIARENTANA APARTMENTS

Children are welcome at Chiarentana, in fact at the end of the garden there is a playground with swing, see-saw and slide.
Each apartment has table and chairs laid out in the large garden of Chiarentana, which offers a spectacular view on to the valley and the Monte Amiata in the distance.
The pool at Chiarentana is shared by the tenants. Weather permitting the pool is open from the middle of May until the end of September. The pool is equipped with sun beds and deck chairs. On one side of Chiarentana´s garden lies a tennis court (hard court) which is open to guests.

The location of Chiarentana makes excursions to Siena, Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Arezzo to an easy day trip. However, the area below Siena, stretching from the monastery of Monte Oliveto to Montalcino and Montepulciano, itself offers many rewarding sites that are worth a visit. Montalcino and Montepulciano are graceful hilltowns, best known for their wine production.
Sant´Antimo and Pienza are jewels in the crown of Tuscany´s art history and should not be missed. Tuscany is also famous for its hot springs. Close to Chiarentana are Bagno Vignoni and Bagno San Filippo, where in the middle of the woods, the warm water has carved natural pools into the rock.
