Italy holiday accommodation - These two holiday apartments lie just outside the spectacular town of San Gimignano in central Tuscany. Il Lazzeretto combines comfortable accommodation with easy access to Siena, Florence and the other holiday attractions of central Italy.
Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, Il Lazzeretto enjoys a hilltop location 500 metres from the town. Its stunning position overlooks a broad panorama of the Chianti Countryside.
The old house has been carefully restructured, with an eye to the traditional Tuscan rustic style. Each apartment has two double bedrooms; one en-suite bathroom; a further bathroom with WC, bidet, washbasin and shower; a living room and fully equipped kitchen. In addition, first floor apartment Casa Vecchia has a big living room with a queen-size sofa bed.

Weekly rental of Apartment Casa Vecchia (4+2 guests) ranges from EURO €440 to €770 depending on the season, with Apartment Tinaia (4 guests) ranging from €380 to €660. Prices include bed and bath linen (with weekly change), electricity, water, and all taxes. Heating is not included; final cleaning (compulsory) is €10 per person at a minimum €30. Extra linen is available at €15 per set (minimum €35). There will be a refundable deposit against damages of €155.
Stays of less than a week are available (excluding dates between 3rd April and 30th October), with Casa Vecchia available at €100 per night (minimum stay two nights) and Tinaia at €85. Rent Tinaia for two people for €65 per night, or the other double bedroom with bathroom at €55.
Tinaia has a pretty courtyard with table and chairs, and there is a common courtyard with tables, chairs and sunshade; this can be used by all guests.
You can do all your shopping at the grocery stores and supermarkets in San Gimignano, where you'll also find car hire. The nearest airports are Pisa and Florence. Florence is 45km away, around 40 minutes by car. Siena lies 30km and 30 minutes away, with Pisa 75km (about an hour).
