The exclusive Castello di Celsa, owned by the royal Aldobrandini family, is within easy reach of such cultural gems as Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and the Chianti area. Lucca, Pisa and Arezzo are about one and a half hours by car and Perugia, Orvieto and Assisi are equally easy day trips.

The former Limonaia, so called because it was a conservatory where lemon trees in terracotta vases were kept in winter, has recently been restored and furnished with an exquisite sense of harmony, space and comfort. It sleeps ten, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
