The three apartments at Le Macchie offer a delightful combination of old-style decor and modern comforts. All have central heating, a dishwasher, a TV and a CD stereo. Extras, available at a small extra cost, include maid service, a cook, a welcome meal, an advance shopping, a baby’s cot and use of a central washing machine.
Leccino is an attractive apartment on two floors with an internal staircase. It is suitable for a family with children as well as a group of adults, as there are 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms.
The ground floor has a large living room with an open fireplace, TV and stereo, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher and a small bathroom. Upstairs are three spacious and comfortable bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) looking over the valley towards Mount Amiata in the background.
The rooms have been furnished with Italian antiques, and Tuscan wrought-iron beds with matching lamps. The fabrics used in the decor are ‘Tela di Pienza’, locally made linen and cotton materials in soft colours. The two bathrooms on the top floor have marble surfaces, one has a bathtub, the other a shower.
Leccino opens up onto a charming walled-in garden which is equipped with table and chairs. You'll find some additional photographs (together with some of the pool) on this page.

Oriolo covers 2 floors, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping 6 in total.
The ground floor is made up of a large sitting room with an open fireplace, a television and a stereo; a dining room; a fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher; and a small bathroom. The stairs lead up to a loggia which looks out over the wheat fields and olive groves and acts as a small second living room. This loggia leads to the three spacious and comfortable bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin) which all overlook the valley and distant Mount Amiata.
The rooms have been furnished with antiques and locally-made wrought-iron beds. The two marble topped bathrooms, one en-suite, can be found on the same floor, one with a tub, the other with a shower.
A door leads directly from the kitchen into the garden which is equipped with table and chairs.
This small, perfectly-private apartment consists of one large room (with TV and stereo) on two levels. The bed is on the higher level, while the lower serves as living room. There is a well equipped built-in-kitchen and a marble topped bathroom with shower.
The large room leads directly onto a terrace with table and chairs and the most beautiful view over the valley.
