Your host (gentleman farmer and owner of the house, Alessandro Tognozzi) will be welcoming you personally to this lovely villa in Tuscany. Montecucco lies close to Montalcino in the Orcia Valley. It stands on its own and enjoys complete privacy, this Tuscan villa rental being reached by a 4km country road. The next village is a 10-15 minute drive away.
The old stone farmhouse dates back to the 18th century, having evolved over the centuries to what it is today - a charming building with many nooks and corners. Perched above a broad valley, it has a fine view of olive groves and vineyards and the charming hilltop village of Colle Sant'Angelo, as well as glimpses of the famous wine town of Montepulciano.

The finish is in attractive thick cotton stripes and checks from famous weavers in Arezzo and Pienza, with pretty striped tiles, produced on the Amalfi coast, for the bathrooms.
The swimming pool lies close to the house, just a few steps below the pergola. This side of the house is exposed to the west and therefore benefits from the wonderful sunsets for which Tuscany is famous.

The entire villa sleeps 8 over 280m². The ground floor is composed of a living kitchen with French windows onto the front of the house. There is a garden with pergola, family room with TV, comfortable sofas, a table for games, and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The first floor is composed of a loggia, large living room with open fireplace, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The private pool (4x15 metres, 1.4m deep) lies amidst a landscaped garden with oak trees, lavender, roses, broom, rosemary and sage and is equipped with sun beds and deck chairs. An outdoor shower as well as a pergola for shade will make this area the centre of your outdoor life here. A vine-covered pergola, equipped with table and chairs is ideal for al fresco meals in the grounds.
