Podere La Costa (the Inn) is an enchanting property with an exceptional view of San Gimignano. Originally one of the many farmhouses on the Pietrafitta estate, Podere La Costa was carefully refurbished in 2002 using local artisans. Great care has been taken to preserve and restore the architectural elements of the original structure. The hotel features nine double rooms, each unique in its décor. Podere La Costa is abundant with warmth and charm yet offers the modern amenities guests appreciate. The location is ideal for day-trips to Chianti, an easy five-minute drive to San Gimignano and approximately 45 minutes to either Florence or Siena.
All rooms have heating, air conditioning, private bathroom, satellite TV and daily maid service. The hotel has private parking, swimming pool, English-speaking front desk staff, breakfast daily, cots for babies, disabled access. Daily price for a double room for two people is EURO €120. Check-in is between 3pm and 7pm; check out is before 11am.

The rural rental houses are ideal for families or guests wishing to have an extended stay at Pietrafitta. There are a number of beautifully restored houses which can accommodate between 2 and 8 people. All houses offer fabulous Tuscan vistas and plenty of privacy with a distance of about 500 metres between each house.
The houses all feature private garden areas, a generous living room with colour television, well-appointed bedrooms, bathroom with tub and/or shower, fully equipped kitchens, weekly linen and towel service and parking.
Podere Poggio Cottage 20 sleeps up to 8. It has 2 double rooms, 1 double room (with 2 single beds), 1 single room, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The weekly price ranges from €1150 (6 guests) to €1325 (8 guests), the weekend price from €450 (6) to €530 (8).

Podere Paternita Cottage 10 sleeps 6. It has 2 double rooms, 1 double room (with 2 single beds), living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The weekly price is €1150, the weekend price €450.
Podere Paternita Cottage 11 sleeps 2 or 4. It has a double room, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The weekly price is €550 (2) or €765 (4), the weekend price €185 or €275.
Rates include domestic appliances, water, gas, electricity, parking, weekly change of bed linen and towels and final cleaning. Excluded is a heating charge of €15 per day for Podere Poggio, and of €7.50 for Podere Paternita. The other properties are unheated.
The use of the swimming pool at Podere La Costa (The Inn) is available to rural house guests at €25 person per week, to be paid separately. All payments and bookings can be made by credit card.
