A lovely Tuscany vacation rental, Italy – Podere Casanova is a beautiful complex developed from an old, fortified hamlet of farmhouses.

The house is situated in a quiet and panoramic location amidst the hills surrounding Casole D’Elsa. The estate, affording beautiful and expansive views, comprises a group of stone buildings. All have been recently restored preserving their original architectural features and turned into 15 spacious apartments offering tastefully decorated interiors in a typical Tuscan manner.

This Tuscany vacation rental, Italy, is perfectly situated. The little town of Casole D’Elsa, whose origins date back to the medieval period, is 2km away; the centre of Casole, with all kinds of shops, is also reachable on foot via an ancient half-mile path. Colle Val D’Elsa is 8km, San Gimignano and Volterra around 20km, Siena 30km, Florence some 50km.

At guests’ disposal is a large furnished garden, a swimming pool (10 x 20m, maximum depth 1.4m, open from 01/05 to 30/09) with Jacuzzi area, playground for children, table tennis, bread oven and shared barbecue. A good restaurant, offering excellent wines and dishes in the local tradition, is on the premises. There is a shared washing machine and iron, plus a safe in each apartment; there is parking within the grounds. Access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. An extra bed and baby bed is available on request (payment on the spot). There is a maid service available by arrangement (to be paid locally). Pets are allowed.

The apartment, Casanova 11, sleeps 4-7, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a floor area of 65 square metres. Set on the first floor, it has a living room (satellite TV) with double sofa bed, kitchen corner (oven, freezer, microwave, toaster) and dining area. There is a bathroom with shower, double bedroom, a second double bedroom with extra single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a private furnished outdoor area overlooking the swimming pool.

Weekly prices are as follows, with extra costs including the €150 deposit, final cleaning of €60 per person (minimum €52), and heating according to consumption:
