Rent a villa in Tuscany - Poggio di Sopra is an Italian holiday villa for rent in southern Tuscany. Split into two apartments, this luxurious farmhouse offers vacation accommodation for 10 to the south of Siena and not far from the famous wine towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano.
A splendid stone-built farmhouse, it sits on a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, from which the view sweeps out over the hills of Montalcino down to the valley of the Orcia River and as far as Monte Amiata. In the valley below lies the magnificent Abbey of Sant'Antimo, which dates back to the 12th century.
This property provides privacy and tranquility and, thanks to sympathetic restoration, maintains the magical atmosphere of an old Tuscan farmhouse. The house is made up of two distinct Italian holiday apartments. Apartment 2 lies on the ground floor while Apartment 1 is on the first floor; this apartment is accessed by an external staircase from the front of the pool and the well-equipped loggia.

On the ground floor, Apartment 2 has a living/dining room with kitchen corner and a double bedroom; this has an en-suite bathroom with shower and a door to the gardens. There is a twin-bedded room with en-suite bathroom with a hip bath. The annex has a study, a double divan bed and a bathroom with shower (available upon request).
On the first floor, Apartment 1 has a large living room with fireplace and a large kitchen/dining room. There is a lounge, two double bedrooms, a twin bedded room, two bathrooms with shower, and one bathroom with hip bath.
Both apartments boast all modern comforts, including satellite TV, telephone, fax, internet access, answering machine, oven, freezer, dishwasher, and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Outside you'll find a lovely garden with pergola and garden furniture; there is a 9 metre x 3 metre swimming pool, an equipped loggia and parking.
