Tuscany vacation rentals

In the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, the Relais Sinalunga is a lovely old 18th century estate. This villa and farmhouse has been transformed into Tuscany vacation rentals, and the four modern apartments enjoy magnificent views over rolling, olive grove clad hills.

Sleeping four over 70m², Paulonia has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. An external flight of stairs gives private access to this flat on the first floor of the house. Open the front door and you enter the living-dining room, with kitchen corner and a large fireplace. Your kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher and fridge. A door from the living room leads to the twin bedroom, while another leads into a hallway with doors to the double bedroom and to a bathroom with shower. The apartment has its own furnished garden space.

Lilla sleeps two guests over 35m² and has a bathroom and a double bedroom. A delightful apartment, it lies on the ground floor and has a private entrance from the side of the farmhouse – there is also a furnished garden space here. An open-plan apartment, it has a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen corner (with gas range, fridge and dishwasher). A double bed with sitting area and satellite TV sit at the back of the room, and a door in the sitting room opens into a bathroom with shower stall. Traditional Tuscan furnishings nicely complement the vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors.

The Cottage lies next to the swimming pool and park, and has a private patio with barbecue, table and chairs set right in front of its kitchen. Sleeping 2+2 this Tuscany vacation rental covers some 65m². The cottage is divided in two sections, though under one roof. A fully equipped kitchen has dishwasher, hob and fridge, and has doors both to the patio and to the internal hallway between the two parts of the accommodation. The door to the second section opens onto the living-dining room with its table and double sofa bed, satellite TV and phone. The living-dining room links to a double bedroom and to the bathroom.

This may be a rural idyll but modern convenience is never sacrificed. It’s difficult to believe, but the town of Sinalunga, with its restaurants, shops and trains to Chiusi (and on to Rome and Florence) is just five minutes away by car.

This part of Italy is peppered with lovely hill towns such as Lucignano or Trequanda, both 10 minutes away. The A1 highway is just 10 minutes drive also, putting Siena, Arezzo, Cortona and Perugia all within half an hour, with Florence just over an hour away. Montepulciano is 17kms away, Pienza and Cortona 25km, Arezzo 40km, Siena and Montalcino 40km and Perugia 50km. You’ll find the nearest golf course just 9km from these Tuscany vacation rentals. The major airports are within easy reach, with Florence 90km away, Rome 185km, Pisa 190km and Bologna 190km.
