Visiting Tuscany - Holiday apartments and Bed and Breakfast in the countryside of Siena, Tuscany

Within old village houses lie eight large apartments (self-catering, and covering some 45/75 square metres). These comprise a large living room with cooking facilities, open fireplace, one or two double rooms, private bathroom/shower and sitting room. They enjoy splendid views, and each has a safe, independent heating, and rustic furniture in the Tuscan style. Apartments 5 and 6 have terraces. In addition, inside the old village, there are six comfortable and traditional double bedrooms with terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and rustic Tuscan furniture, all with private bathrooms and shower.

The self-catering apartments sleeping two range from EURO €525 to €650 per week. The apartments sleeping four range from €650 to €840. Arrivals/departures are on Saturdays, and the prices include power, use of the supplied cooking facilities, bath/bed and kitchen linen (changed weekly), final cleaning and taxes.

Double bedrooms (minimum stay 2 nights) range from €110 to €135 per night, including Continental breakfast and taxes. Check-in and luggage drop-off is between 2.30 pm and 6pm. The season runs from 15 March until 3 November. VISA, Mastercard and CartaSì are welcome. There is car parking outside the walls.

Within 5km you'll find tennis, a swimming pool, riding school and bike rental. Nearby lie the magnificent city of Siena (45km); Montalcino with its Brunello cellars (20km); Castiglione d'Orcia with its fortress (10km); Pienza, with its famed cheese makers (15km); and San Quirico d'Orcia, with the spa centre of Bagno Vignoni (5km). For lovers of walking there are, all around the Castle, stunning strolls and paths that let you bathe in the unspoiled environment of the Val d'Orcia.
