Villa L'Arco is a recently renovated villa on the Hills of Todi in Umbria. The house sleeps nine, has its own pool, and offers comfort, luxury and spectacular views to the valley below.
The ground floor accommodation begins with the large hall. There is a spacious kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, an oven with a full set of cooking utensils provided, grill, hob, toaster, filter coffee machine and espresso maker, barbecue and a washing machine; there is also a pantry with refrigerator and freezer.
Also on the ground floor is a large living room with fireplace - both kitchen and living room (air conditioned) lead onto the spacious veranda furnished with table and chairs. There are two bathrooms with showers.
The first floor has three double air-conditioned bedrooms, one twin air-conditioned bedroom, a small single bedroom with balcony, and a bathroom with bathtub.
The villa has DSL/Wi-Fi broadband, air-conditioning throughout the house with thermostatic controls in each room so guests can adjust to their individual needs, central heating, a mobile telephone, satellite and terrestrial TV, stereo CD/DVD player. There is an iron and ironing-board, hair dryer, and a cot and high chair for infants. Linen is changed weekly, maid service twice a week (Saturday and mid-week). Should you need additional maid service, local cook/chef service, catering, organization of special events, simply ask the helpful owner-caretaker who lives nearby in separate house, independent from the villa to ensure complete privacy - they will be pleased to help. English, French, German and Dutch are spoken, as well as Italian.
The outdoor areas of Villa L'Arco are a huge bonus. You can enjoy long al fresco meals on the spacious veranda, which overlooks the private swimming pool and the beautifully tended gardens. A broad lawn full of roses, perfumed by the lavender and rosemary bushes, surrounds the house and leads down towards a paved terracotta terrace with a lovely swimming pool, where loungers beckon to sunbathers and you can even sit with your laptop and send photos of the sun setting behind the hills to your family and friends via the villa's Wi-Fi connection.
There is a play area for the children with tennis table and
child's swing.
