Villa Rosaspina is a charming Umbrian holiday house sleeping eight. This stone-built villa, with wood-beamed ceilings, dates from the 1700s. And standing on the Hills of Todi, it lies at the centre of one of the areas of greatest historical, artistic, and natural interest in Italy.
The villa is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and its own woodland with centuries-old oak trees – this is a perfect place for those who demand privacy. And from the windows of the villa you can watch the river flowing through the valley below. With air-conditioning, a private large swimming pool and Jacuzzi onsite, there is plenty of opportunity to relax and unwind before you even begin exploring the beauty of Umbria.
The ground floor of the villa includes a beautifully equipped kitchen, with dining table, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven with a full set of cooking utensils provided, both filter coffee machine and espresso maker, and washing machine. The sitting room has a lovely fireplace, and both kitchen and sitting room (with air conditioning and mosquito nets) have doors to the grounds. There is a double bedroom which can be converted into a twin-bedded room, and one en-suite bathroom with a shower suitable for disabled guests. The entire ground floor is suitable for disabled guests.
On the first floor are three double bedrooms, one of which can be converted into a twin-bedded room. There are three en-suite bathrooms - one has a hydromassage tub, one a bath, and one a shower.
The bedrooms at Rosaspina are delightfully cool whatever the weather outside - air conditioning and the beds’ anatomical latex mattresses (anti-allergenic) see to that. And the whole house is tastefully decorated, and furnished with beautiful antiques and paintings.
The villa has broadband Wi-Fi, a mobile telephone, satellite TV, stereo system, CD/DVD player. It is possible to adjust the air-conditioning from each room. There is a hair dryer, ironing utilities, baby cot and high chais for infants. Linen is changed weekly, there is an iron and ironing-board, and a cot for infants. Maid service available twice a week. Should you need a cook or babysitter, simply ask the helpful owner-caretaker who lives nearby - they will be pleased to help. English, French, German and Dutch are spoken, as well as Italian.
