These Italy holiday rentals are within a lovely farmhouse in Umbria, central Italy. The Dove ti porta il cuore (Follow the heart) farmhouse is located a few kilometres from both Orvieto and Lake Bolsena.
The recently restored farmhouse contains three independent apartments and is located on a breathtaking panoramic hill 500 metres above sea level. The position is perfect for walks in the countryside or sightseeing, whatever the season. Each of the three apartments is independently heated and consists of two fully furnished double bedrooms, kitchen, living room with a pull-out sofa bed, two bathrooms, a fireplace and terrace.
Apartment Melograno is on the first floor up. It has no stairs, with a level entry from a pedestrian ‘bridge’. It sleeps 8, has a living room with pull-out couch and fireplace, two bedrooms with loft and two single beds in each, an eat-in kitchen, two bathrooms (one with bathtub), and a television.
Apartment Corniolo is on the ground floor, left of the veranda. It sleeps 8 and has a dining room with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a living room with pull-out couch and TV SAT, two bathrooms (one with tub), and a TV.
Apartment Biancospino is on the ground floor, left of the veranda. It sleeps 8 and has a dining room with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a living room with pull-out couch and TV SAT, two bathrooms (one with tub), and a TV.
A gymmnasium is available for guests.
In low season (from October to April), weekly rental is Euro 600, in mid season (from September to May) is EURO €750, in high season (From June to August, 31st of December and Easter) is €950. Prices include hot and cold water, electricity, sheets and towels, heating, swimming pool and final cleaning.
Porano is only 10 minutes by car from Orvieto, easily and quickly served by the A1 highway (Exit Orvieto), or by train (the Orvieto train station is one of the most important intersections of central Italy, through which various Eurostar trains pass).

The major cities of art in Umbria are located within a few kilometres and Lake Bolsena is only 30 minutes from the house. Tourist sightseeing in less than two hours from the house includes the towns of Orvieto, Viterbo, Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Pitigliano, Vulci, Siena, Rome, Capalbio, Orbetello, Civitale Bagnoregio and Saturnia.
