A long-established gem among Italian Alps hotels, since 1882 guests have been welcomed to the venerable residence of the Berthod De Morò family.
The hotel introduced bed and breakfast accommodation to Courmayeur in the 1960s. This homely hotel, open all year, is in the pedestrian precinct of Courmayeur and only 400 metres from the main ski lift. It has 25 rooms of differing types, five of which are suites, all personalised, with all comforts. Through the years the hotel has undergone various structural changes and enlargements. The suites all have private bathroom and hairdryer, television with satellite reception, radio, mini-bar, direct-dial telephone and balcony.
The Berthod family still personally taken care of the management of the hotel. A buffet breakfast is served until late morning in a pleasant room with a wonderful panoramic view of the Mont Blanc glaciers. There are typical dishes, dietetic and hypo-allergenic products should you so choose. At your disposal is La Cave: a relaxation area with a large Jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. La Crotta is a fitness room with different massages available. There is an internet point, private car-parking, rooms for skis, a minibus and bicycles. There are guided excursions, and deals with local restaurants.

The hotel also has some very comfortable apartments, furnished in local style, with one or more bedrooms, living room with kitchenette, bathroom, and suitable for families. Situated near Courmayeur, they are perfect for a relaxing stay. Courmayeur, having become a spa resort at the end of the 17th century, thanks to its mineral waters, is today one of the most important ski resorts, combining the magnificence of its ski slopes and mountains with the charm of a magical and exclusive place. With the chance to ascend Mount Blanc by cableway, the Ferret Valley, the Veny Valley and the villages that surround it, Courmayeur is a unique resort, any time of year.
