This charming holiday house dates back to the 17th century and, although recently refurbished, retains an old-fashioned atmosphere with brick floors and beamed ceilings. The house has a private, furnished garden and is set in the rural greenery of a hamlet in the countryside of northern Italy. There is a grocery store in walking distance and nearby Monselice (5km) offers shops, restaurants and a railway station.
Padua is only 20km away, a gem of a city with spectacular architecture and a treasure-trove of artworks including the worlds finest collection of Giotto. A direct train will whisk you off to Venice (50km) - one of Italy's most striking and romantic cities - for a day of gondoliers and water-taxis, museums and palaces, and the spectacle of the Piazza San Marco. One of the world's historical super-powers, Italy's Veneto offers a wealth of cultural, artistic and historical diversions, as well as mountains, beaches and a rich cuisine based on the staples of polenta, risotto and rich, buttery sauces.

The holiday house offers heated accommodation for up to eight guests, with three bedrooms supplemented by a double sofabed in the living room. Elegantly furnished and occupying two floors, the house has two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a living/dining room and a kitchen. There are three en-suite bathrooms. The house is suitable for an infant, with a nice cot and a barrier for the staircase.
The accommodation has been equipped to a high standard, with a colour TV, bed and bath linen, a washing machine and a hairdryer. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, toaster, orange-squeezer, dishwasher and a barbecue.
There are two porches and a private garden where you can relax after a day's sightseeing in Venice or Padua, and an electronic gate and parking facilities ensure privacy and security.
Casa Viaro is available for rent on a weekly (Saturday to Saturday) basis, with the rental price depending on the number of guests and the season. Rental ranges from EURO €550 - €900 (4 guests) to €750 - €1,200 (8 guests) including amenities and a weekly change of bed, bath and kitchen linen.
