This substantial holiday villa lies just 5 km from Prato della Valle - the centre of historic Padua.
Villa Mandriola was built in the 16th century by the San Bonifacio, a noble family from Verona. The original core of the villa was built between the 16th and 17th century, and completed by the 18th century on the occassion of the wedding between the Count Ercole di San Bonifacio and Teresa delgi Obizzi.
Villa Mandriola sits within parkland of five hectares, beautifully planted and with hills and a lake. In the vast park there is a battlemented tower and tree-lined paths, on of them embelished with 18th century statues.
Villa Mandriola is on two floors. The ground floor has a large hall leading into a library, a dining room wich can host 12/14 people, an entrance hall, two large sitting rooms, a large well-equipped kitchen with a large fireplace, a decoratively paintinted living room where you can relax, watch TV or listen to music. There is another living room, called "degli stucchi", where you can play board games and find useful information on the surrounding area. The first floor has four double bedrooms, two single rooms and five bathrooms with baths. There is also a Depandance of the villa wich can accomodate four people in a double and twin bedroom and two bathrooms.
The main body of the villa has spacious and comfortable rooms all furnished with period furniture, and most are decorated with 17th century frescoes. The outdoor swimming pool is open from June to September. A welcoming service is provided on arrival by an English/French speaking person. They will help you with any tourist information, booking of concerts, operas and theatres.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen with cutlery, dishes, glasses and crockery for up to 20 people, a dishwasher, freezer, cooking stove, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster, orangesqueezer, and a big fireplace ideal for indoor barbecue.
The house is equipped with a washing machine, telephone, satellite TV, private parking lot, barbecue, baby cot, baby highchair, games for children, board games, books, cellar with local delicatessen, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, stereo, computer, fax, VCR, TV socket, DVD/CD player.
The outdoor area has private parking and swimming pool. The garden is equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue, games for children, tennis table and sunbeds. Ten mountain bikes are available and there is a small boat for the lake.

The estate grounds are ideal for walking, trekking or cycling in the National Park of the Euganean Hills (10Km). Guest can also enjoy fishing in estate's larde private lake. Near to Villa Mandriola estate there are golf courses and naturalistic itineraries. Guests can also visit Brenta's Riviera (15km) with its Venetian Villas.
