Tenuta Castel Venezze is a wonderful historic farm house on the rolling country estate of Contessa Maria Giustiniani. The building is the oldest on the estate, dating back to the 15th century and, furnished with antiques, it provides an authentic taste of the rich, classic Italian style of the period. The Contessa has ensured that the unique rural character of the estate and the buildings have been retained while providing all the modern conveniences that you would expect from modern accommodation.
The estate Castel Venezze takes the name from an ancient castle that was destroyed in September 1404, at the hands of Uguccione dè Contrary, who was in the service of Nicolò d' Este in the fight against the Veneziani.
There are few things in life more rewarding than the joys of simple country living, and in Italy these simple pleasures form the substance of everyday life. In the midst of this rich tapestry of life, in the village of San Martino di Venezze, we discovered a picture perfect little italian villa near Venice, and set about creating Tenuta Castel Venezze: our personal tribute to good living - Italian style.

So much more than just a place to stay, Tenuta Castel Venezze offers a rich experience in elegant country living. It is a place to indulge the senses, and more importantly to be indulged. Enchantingly romantic and deliciously detailed in every way, the unique appeal of Tenuta Castel Venezze lies in it's eclectic style, it's personality and in it's dedication to the fine art of good living
The family Frassetti or Venezze have been resident in this territory since 1300, as is shown by the title deeds of the lands. The estate is currently the property of the descendants of this nobleman and the prestigious family Veneta.

Here you can spend long, leisurely days and evenings on the estate having a swim, supping on a cocktail by the pool, or simply lying back and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Castel Venezze estate is found close by the small village of Saint Martino di Venezze, and not far from the Adige river. The manor house is constructed of local red brick and stands at the end of a long avenue of ancient lime trees. It offers quiet and serene accommodation in either 12 finely furnished, air conditioned rooms, or three recently refurbished apartments.
