
The restaurant:
Guest can dine at the Antica Locanda Venezze restaurant,
completely rebuilt into a old stylish, intimate and friendly Italian
restaurant, completely reserved for our guests.
Since opening our doors in June 2002 we have aimed to serve top quality food using fresh, local ingredients, imaginatively served and presented in a unstuffy environment to create an atmosphere which allows you to enjoy your dining experience with us to the full.
More than a few of our guests have been pleasantly surprised by the level of quality and - dare we say - sophistication which we aspire to in our Dining Room here at Locanda Castel Venezze. Just because we are remote geographically does not necessarily mean that we cannot aspire to the highest of regional standards!
We only use the best of fresh ingredients throughout and always take the fullest advantage of what is available - seasonally or otherwise. Wherever practical, our seafood comes direct from the boats at Chioggia, landed by local divers and fishermen. Our meat comes from the best farm of Eastern Alps.
Along with fine dining goes fine wining (to coin a phrase) and, whilst our wine list is arguably not the most extensive, it is both varied and well-balanced and receives very favourable comments from residents and diners. Wines are, in the main, moderately priced and represent good value for money.
