Verona is a lovely city, much more relaxed and less crowded than Venice but with a wealth of historic sights to enjoy. With pink-hued medieval buildings and a plethora of Roman sites to explore, the city sits snugly within the curve of the River Adige. You will pass through the awesome Roman Porta Nuova and down to the most impressive of the city’s Roman remains, the Arena.

The ancient sights are nicely complemented by chic clothes and jewellery shops, and you’ll find excellent bars and restaurants for whiling away pleasant hours.

This is also a perfect starting point for trekking or cycling in the nearby hills.

Depending on the season, weekly prices range from EURO €490 to €700. Shorter periods of stay can be arranged on request.
