A holiday Bed and Breakfast in the Italian countryside of Valpolicella, between Verona and Lake Garda - La Caminella offers a range of courses including cooking, wine-tasting and pottery.
The B&B is in Valpolicella, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Situated in the foothills of the Dolomites, between Lake Garda and Verona, it is uniquely placed for exploring this fascinating Italian region.
[ View on Google Map | map of Veneto ]The valley is rich with cherry trees, olive trees and vineyards, grown here for generations. And of course world-famous red wines originate from here - Valpolicella, Amarone and Reciotto are produced in the valley. And excellent whites - such as Soave, Custoza and Lugana - are produced nearby.
In this lovely setting the owners of La Caminella have restored an old stone tobacco drying barn, transforming it into their home, with generous Bed and Breakfast holiday rooms and additional space for workshops. This is a superb setting to relax, enjoy ... and work at courses that are going to transform your holiday into something really special.

The B&B has three guest rooms. Each is large and comfortable with bed and private bathroom; each room is nicely furnished, light and airy. For longer stays, there is a suite with a small kitchen - in addition to its double bed this has two singles. Prices for these Italian holiday rooms range between EURO €50 and €80 per night. For short stays the price is €70 per night. The house also has an internet connection.
Walk or hire a bicycle and tour the gentle foothills of the nearby Lessinian Mountains - these have been inhabited since the Neolithic era. Your hosts are happy to arrange tours of whatever length, so this is the ideal way for everyone to explore this beautiful part of Italy.
A number of educational Workshops are on fixed dates throughout the year. And groups of 4 to 12 people can request a workshop on dates of their choice. There are individually tailored courses and guided visits; choose from learning Italian to finding the osterias where local people eat, drink and live the traditional Italian life.
