If you want to soak up some culture instead of sun, Lucca (10 miles) and Pisa (12 miles) are close at hand - both treasure troves of galleries, museums and churches. Walking and riding (horses or bikes), and even skiing, is possible in the mountains to the north, and the rest of Tuscany is at your feet (Chianti and Siena - 35 miles, Florence - 50 miles).

The villa covers 2200 square feet, with complete privacy to relax in its well tended garden or large veranda, sunbathing or making use of the barbecue and brick oven.

The accommodation is of the highest standard, with room for four (possibly five) and baby facilities available for a small extra charge.
